Surf And Yoga.
It got so popular on every surf beach you will find a place offering yoga classes at the surfcamp. What makes this one different? The time? The input? The passion? This is not only yoga as a warm up, this is not only a cool down, during yoga for surfers you will discover more about your body, your movement and your power! Surfing is probably the harderst of al surfsports or boardsports. It takes time, patience and perseverance. The white water will smash and tumble you around for a while and you need to keep practising a lot before you be one of those kooks surfing steep waves down the line, crashing mentawais and rocking fotos.. Above all it is about having fun so why not spend some extra time on land improving your surfskills while relaxing in the same time!! Yoga for Surfers includes extra stretches on the upper back/neck and shoulers, strengthening the butt and arms and releasing the lower back. Breathing excercises are usefull to learn how to control your mind and to gain extra time under the next big wave... Try it for a week with us, and maybe you even go home with a yoga mat rather than a board... |

Standing on a board, floating over the ocean, steering yourself with the help of the wind, its all about freedom! After a good windsurf session it is time to release and stretch. What a day! Yoga for windsurfers focuses extra on the forearms, back, upperlegs, knees, calves and ankles, breathing to learn taking control on your mind and gaining more self confidence with specific challening postures. This practice will help you improve more on the water and on land.. The more advanced windsurfers will know ankles and knees are sore spots when it comes to manouvres. These joints are the first to receive injuries. With a adjusted yoga practice aimed at the needs of windsurfers you can and will recover faster and perhaps even grow a higher level of painresitence... |

Stand Up Paddle is one of the easiest to start with when it comes to watersports. Grab a big board and a paddle.. than learn your basic paddle technics and how to safe your self and off you go..
How much fun to throw some extra spice to it.. We love to play around with Yoga on the board.
Yoga on a stand up paddle is fun and exciting, it will ask you to do more than you might think you can do. Its is ok to fall and it is a challenge to get back on your feet. Just as sometimes life can throw you off and you just need to get back on and go. Only now, you are under the sun, having fun in the water! (Imagine your tan!!)..
A SUP YOGA Session includes;
Lv 1: basic paddle technics and standard poses (seated, hands&knees and laying down).
Lv 2: intermediate paddle technics and standing poses and backbends.
Lv 3: Race paddle technics and inversions.
Savasana never been this good!! (your final resting pose!)
Material is included in the course.
Courses take place in the bay or the lagoons of Cotillo depending the weather conditions and tides.
